Bob Rose, Partner Bob has been in the investment business for 44 years, spending his formative years as a floor trader maintaining markets for companies he was involved with such as Magna International and Harris Steel in their infancy. Recently, he has financed numerous junior oil, gas, and mining related companies - occasionally moving into technology. Most of the companies Bob finances are micro cap and he is often the only broker who knows the company, arranges financing, helping them build, maintain a market, and then introduces them to the street.

Andy Gustajtis, Partner & Managing Director Andy has a Master’s Degree in Geology has been an active participant in the Canadian investment business for over 30 years – the majority of it as an Oil & Gas analyst with a number of Canadian Investment Dealers. Approximately 10 years ago he became proactive in investment banking, and at present is almost exclusively focused on investment banking with a strong bias to oil & gas, specializing in undervalued or large unrecognized companies. Andy’s reputation has been recognized in the Canadian Market Place where he is known as a Specialty Investment Banker working closely with companies to raise the necessary funds to achieve their objectives, and more importantly, their profile within the investment community.

Ed Pennock, CFA, Partner & Managing Director Ed is well known as an Industry veteran in the Institutional marketplace. Starting on the floor of the Montreal Stock Exchange, he became involved in the Institutional Equity market from its earliest days. He helped found such firms as Brown Baldwin Institutional, Gardner Watson, and First Associates (now Blackmont Capital). Ed worked at Merrill Lynch Canada, Wood Gundy, and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Canada. He founded Charles Schwab Canada (which did not open), and also founded DFI Securities. In January 2005, he joined the executive team of D & D Securities Company, and remains involved in Institutional Equities and Investment Banking.

David Farquharson, Partner David has been involved in investment business for over 10 years. He started in Research, focusing his attention on junior oil & gas companies, and recognizing undervalued high growth companies. In 2002, after working for Bob Rose for 4 years, David moved into Investment Banking, raising capital for micro cap companies in the Energy business. For the past 6 years he has been raising capital for mining, oil and gas, and alternative energy companies, with a focus on venture and early stage companies.

Joe Pavao, President Joe has been in the financial investment industry since 1990, where he has held various senior level roles with such firms as TD GreenLine Investor Services Inc. (now TD Waterhouse), CT Securities Inc., E*Trade Canada, and Sun Life Securities Inc. In 2003, Joe left the industry to help start and run two privately owned businesses, but returned in October 2007, when he joined the executive team of D & D Securities Company.
